After Simon Cowell virtually declared David Archuleta as the latest American Idol last night, with comments about him winning rounds 1 and 2, and being a knockout, I thought for sure it would influence the voters, and leave my Idol biting the dust.
However, in what seems to be the biggest upset in the history of AI, Cook took home the crown and rightfully so. In reality though, it wasn't quite an upset knowing his less-screaming following as well as great raves online, plus the fact, and he probably doesn't even realize it, that he has turned Always Be My Baby the greatest love song of recent times.
So, in a nutshell, AHLAVEEET!!!!! On a side note, R has lost our bet, and guess who has a slave for the next few days? Wahaha.
I'm so happy that the voters chose the rightful winner. Cook was already a star long before this competition was over, and I bet he's already found what he's looking for :)
