And technically, I'm not yet done since I still have to turn in my finals. Funny thing, because according to classmate A (hahaha, yeah, classmate A), I received some sort of award for my email discussion contributions on Investment Management. Hmmm.. That could be another sign.. Hahaha.. Next up: Strama defense. Whew! Never thought that day would come. :p
So, yeah, the last few weeks has been really hectic. Work transitions (expanded job scope and what not), tons of school stuff, and not surprisingly, relationship melodrama. Also not surprisingly, relationship issues are the hardest to deal with. You know that thing about loving someone but you just can't be with him? Story of my life. Goodness. I love him because I've loved him since a long time ago. But he is a different man now. And we are already in different places in our lives. Unfortunately, we can't just pick up where we left off a long time ago.
Nowadays, everything has gotten ugly. The sad part is, I knew from the start that this is where all this will lead to. But I'm only human for trying to defy the odds, right? I'm only human for wanting to end up with the one I love. I still want to end up with the one I love.
Gawd, it's Christmas very soon. And I want this year to be different in that I will try to focus on the other people around me more. So I will end this post right here.
Actually, not before I say this for the record. Ali, I will super miss you!! I'm sorry for not helping you on the ref. Haha. Tigas ng ulo mo eh. Senti na ako. Promise. Next year will definitely be different. And that's an understatement. Sigh.
